It's one of the mysteries of the fashion calendar (showing on the catwalks a year in advance of the clothes being in the shops is just another of fashion's timing oddities) that just as you're getting used to the nippy weather outside abating, some stores start carrying their high-summer products. It may not be exactly balmy outside, but contrary though it may be to practicalilty, because you probably won't be able to wear it for month's to come, now is the time to buy your summer wardrobe, especially if you're uncertain whether an item will still be around later when the sunshine finally does arrive.
