Mary, Queen of Shops

In the second series of Mary Queen of Shops - a six-part series broadcast on BBC Two from June-July 2008, Mary Portas shares the knowledge she has gained from her years at the leading edge of fashion retailing, giving us the ultimate insider's guide as to how to get the most out of shops and shopping.

Each week, Mary takes on a struggling fashion boutique and attempts to turn their businesses around. She first visits the boutique while the owners are away, then begins a revamp that sees her throw out the old and bring in the new, to get the shop owners up-to-date.

With front row seats at London Fashion Week and sessions with people at some of the country's leading fashion magazines, Mary uses all the tricks of the trade to whip the shops into shape.
